Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Earnable LLC ("Earnable," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Earnable mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://getearnable.com/legal/privacy). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Earnable is

Earnable is a personal salary-intelligence and career-development tool. It provides salary estimates and benchmarks, a personalized dashboard, career missions and progress tracking, AI-generated resume feedback, and related coaching content. Earnable is not a job board or employment agency: we do not post jobs, accept job applications, recruit, or connect you with employers, and we are not a party to any employment relationship.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least [13] years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. (Keep this age consistent with the Privacy Policy.)

3. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the App.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and free trials

Earnable offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Earnable Elite") that unlock premium features.

• Plans & pricing: Weekly ($7.99/week) and Yearly ($59.99/year), or the prices shown in the App at the time of purchase. The Yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Billing through Apple: Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Your subscription automatically renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Free trial: If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, your subscription begins and you will be charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription.
• Managing & canceling: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: Purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We generally do not provide refunds except where required by law.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, with notice and your consent.

5. Your content

You may provide content such as your profile information and resume ("Your Content"). You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant Earnable a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the App to you. You represent that you have the right to share Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights. Do not upload content you do not want processed as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

6. AI features

The App uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to generate resume feedback and related suggestions. When you use these features, the relevant text (e.g., your resume text) is sent to our AI provider for processing, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated output is automated and informational only, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and is not professional career, legal, or financial advice. Use your own judgment before acting on it.

7. Salary data disclaimer

Salary figures, percentiles, ranges, and projections in the App are estimates generated from models and the information you provide. They are not guarantees of actual compensation, a job offer, a raise, or any career outcome, and they are provided for general informational purposes only — not as financial, legal, or career advice.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the App; access it by automated means or scrape its content; reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or API keys; resell or commercially exploit the App; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or interfere with the App's operation or security.

9. Intellectual property

The App, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Earnable and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

10. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services, including Apple (payments), Google Firebase (authentication and data), Google's Gemini API (AI processing), and RevenueCat (subscription management). Your use of those features may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the App or its users. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ESTIMATE OR AI OUTPUT IS ACCURATE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EARNABLE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOST CAREER OR EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Earnable harmless from claims and expenses arising out of Your Content or your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. (Specify a real jurisdiction; add dispute-resolution/arbitration terms if desired.)

17. Apple App Store (EULA terms)

These Terms are between you and Earnable only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. The following apply to your use of the App obtained through the Apple App Store:

• Scope of license: Your license is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
• Maintenance & support: Earnable, not Apple, is solely responsible for any maintenance and support for the App.
• Warranty: Earnable is solely responsible for any product warranties. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Product claims: Earnable, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product-liability, legal/regulatory, or intellectual-property claims.
• Legal compliance: You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist-supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
